Most banner stands can normally be set up in under one minute, and in most cases come loaded inside of a soft padded transporting bag. The banner is rolled away within the base, and is very easily pulled up and mounted on a pole during final set up. Some poles are either adjustable or are split up into 2 or 3 pieces connected together with an adaptable cord.
This banner stand style has a wide variety of designs. Some make use of a graphite rod in addition to a metal foot in order to add tension to the banner. Others, such as the X banner, will apply tension to all four corners of the banner in order to stretch it nice and tightly from corner to corner
